Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding to join, fabricate, and repair metal and other weldable materials.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and detailed drawings to understand the requirements of the welding task.
- Ensure the proper setup and maintenance of welding equipment, including selecting the appropriate tools and settings for each job.
- Conduct thorough inspections of welds to ensure they meet industry and company standards for quality and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively, adhering to project timelines.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment to ensure it remains in good working condition.
- Troubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification or trade school education preferred.
- Proven experience as a welder, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and ARC welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Strong understanding of welding safety protocols and procedures.
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding issues.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform demanding tasks.
