Key Responsibilities:
- Process Optimization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize water treatment processes, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.
- Technical Expertise: Provide expert knowledge in water treatment technologies, methodologies, and equipment selection to support project planning and execution.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and analyze water quality parameters, troubleshoot issues, and recommend corrective actions to maintain optimal water quality levels.
- Project Management: Lead and manage water treatment projects, including budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and reporting to ensure successful project delivery.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated with local and international water treatment regulations and standards, and ensure all projects adhere to these requirements.
- Client Engagement: Collaborate closely with clients to understand their water treatment needs, provide technical recommendations, and ensure client satisfaction throughout project lifecycles.
- Team Leadership: Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and supervision to junior team members involved in water treatment projects.
- Research and Development: Stay informed about emerging trends and advancements in water treatment technologies, and identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records, prepare technical reports, and contribute to the preparation of proposals and presentations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Proven experience (2+ years) in water treatment, with a strong background in designing, implementing, and optimizing water treatment processes.
- Familiarity with a variety of water treatment technologies such as reverse osmosis, coagulation-flocculation, disinfection, etc.
- In-depth knowledge of water quality parameters, testing methodologies, and regulatory standards.
- Project management skills, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage project timelines and budgets.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work under pressure to resolve technical challenges.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients, team members, and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools for data analysis, modeling, and project management.
- Relevant certifications in water treatment or project management are advantageous.
