Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee the receipt, inspection, and accurate recording of incoming shipments.
- Implement inventory control measures to minimize losses and discrepancies.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of products.
- Conduct regular stock checks and reconcile discrepancies.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and manage a team of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and responsibilities.
- Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to team members.
- Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Order Processing:
- Supervise order picking, packing, and preparation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Verify the accuracy of orders before dispatch and coordinate with the logistics team for on-time deliveries.
- Quality Control:
- Establish and maintain high-quality standards in handling and storing products.
- Ensure that products are inspected for damage or defects, and report any issues.
- Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Equipment and Maintenance:
- Manage and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Schedule and oversee routine equipment checks and maintenance.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Ensure accurate completion and maintenance of all relevant paperwork and records.
- Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, order processing, and team performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Proficiency in inventory management software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Working Conditions:
- Full-time position with flexible working hours as needed.
- Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures.
- Occasional overtime may be required during peak periods.
