Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Underground Electrical Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing underground electrical systems. This role requires a thorough understanding of electrical principles, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety and quality. Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair underground electrical systems and components.
- Perform regular inspections to identify and troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Ensure all work complies with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols.
- Use specialized equipment and tools to locate and diagnose electrical faults.
- Collaborate with other technicians and team members to complete projects efficiently.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development activities.
- Respond to emergency repair requests in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Technician, preferably in an underground setting.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and safety codes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Proficiency with electrical testing equipment and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces.
- Valid electrical license and relevant certifications.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is preferred.
