Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Travel Consultant to join our team at ZAIN TOURS in Ajman. The Travel Consultant will play a key role in assisting clients with their travel plans, providing expert advice, and arranging seamless travel experiences from start to finish. Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients in planning and booking travel arrangements, including flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, and activities
- Listen to clients’ preferences and requirements, offering personalized recommendations and options to meet their needs
- Research destinations, attractions, and travel suppliers to stay informed about travel trends, deals, and promotions
- Prepare and present travel itineraries, proposals, and cost estimates to clients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Coordinate with airlines, hotels, tour operators, and other travel suppliers to confirm reservations, manage bookings, and resolve any issues or changes
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the booking process, addressing client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally
- Stay up-to-date with visa requirements, entry restrictions, and travel advisories for various destinations, advising clients accordingly
- Process payments, issue tickets, and handle documentation and paperwork accurately and efficiently
- Follow up with clients after their trips to gather feedback, address any issues, and promote additional travel services or destinations
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets, share best practices, and contribute to the overall success of the agency
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in tourism, hospitality, or related field preferred
- Previous experience as a travel consultant, travel agent, or related role preferred
- Strong knowledge of travel industry trends, destinations, products, and services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients
- Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a passion for travel and customer service
- Proficiency in using computer reservation systems (CRS) and travel booking platforms
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
