Key Responsibilities:
- Inventory Management: Receive, inspect, and record incoming goods, ensuring accuracy and quality of items.
- Stock Organization: Organize and maintain the company’s stock, ensuring proper storage and accessibility of products.
- Order Processing: Process and fulfill internal requests for materials and supplies, maintaining adequate stock levels.
- Record Keeping: Keep detailed and accurate records of inventory transactions, including receipts, withdrawals, and returns.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular checks on the condition of stored goods, identifying and addressing issues promptly.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and any discrepancies.
- Communication: Collaborate with various departments to understand their inventory needs and coordinate deliveries accordingly.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols, ensuring a secure and organized working environment.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Knowledge of inventory management software or systems.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Physical fitness for tasks that involve lifting and moving items.
- Familiarity with Dubai’s regulatory standards for inventory management is advantageous.
