Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Store Keeper. As a Store Keeper, you will be responsible for managing and organizing inventory, ensuring that products are properly stored, labeled, and accounted for. Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments of merchandise, verify quantities and quality, and process them into inventory.
- Inspect and record the condition of received goods, checking for damage or discrepancies, and report any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Label and store merchandise in designated locations, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, including stock counts, receipts, and withdrawals, using manual or computerized inventory management systems.
- Monitor inventory levels and reorder merchandise as needed to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent stockouts.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to reconcile physical stock counts with system records, identifying discrepancies and investigating variances.
- Prepare and package merchandise for outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
- Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts, stock adjustments, and inventory reconciliations.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment, including proper handling and storage of hazardous materials.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a retail or warehouse environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail and accuracy when performing inventory-related tasks.
- Proficiency in using inventory management software or systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Bahrain.
