Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Responsibilities:
- Food Preparation: Assist in the preparation of ingredients and mise en place as directed by the kitchen staff.
- Cleaning and Sanitization: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment by washing, peeling, and chopping vegetables, cleaning utensils, and ensuring the overall cleanliness of kitchen surfaces.
- Dishwashing: Responsible for washing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment promptly and efficiently.
- Supporting Kitchen Staff: Collaborate with chefs and cooks to facilitate the smooth operation of the kitchen. Assist in any additional tasks as required.
- Stock Management: Assist in receiving, storing, and organizing food and kitchen supplies. Notify the kitchen staff of any low-stock items.
Qualifications:
- Previous Experience: Prior experience in a kitchen or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Team Player: Ability to work well in a team, take direction from superiors, and contribute to a positive kitchen atmosphere.
- Physical Endurance: Capable of standing for extended periods and performing physically demanding tasks.
