Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Operating Theatre department, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to protocols.
- Coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to schedule surgeries and allocate resources accordingly.
- Supervise nursing staff in the Operating Theatre, providing guidance, support, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a sterile environment in the Operating Theatre.
- Monitor patient care during surgical procedures, including pre-operative preparation and post-operative care.
- Manage inventory and supplies for the Operating Theatre, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize patient flow and enhance patient care outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Stay updated on advancements in surgical techniques, equipment, and best practices in perioperative nursing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Registered Nurse license in Kuwait.
- Minimum of insert number, e.g., 5 years of experience in perioperative nursing, with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of operating theatre procedures, surgical techniques, and perioperative nursing care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to effectively manage resources and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Kuwait.
