Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of their healthcare needs.
- Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, ensuring precision and patient safety.
- Monitoring: Monitor patients’ vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition, promptly reporting any deviations to the healthcare team.
- Patient Education: Educate patients and their families on their health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care techniques.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and complete patient records, including medical histories, nursing assessments, and care plans.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians, therapists, and other nurses, to provide holistic patient care.
- Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols to prevent the spread of infections within the healthcare facility.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly and effectively in emergencies, providing life-saving care and assistance as required.
- Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations, standards, and hospital policies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BScN) or equivalent.
- Valid nursing license from the Qatar Council for Healthcare Practitioners (QCHP).
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
- BLS and ACLS certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
