Aldar Academies is currently seeking a skilled and experienced accountant to join our team as a Private School Accountant in Abu Dhabi. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to contribute to the financial management and operational success of our prestigious private schools.

Work Experience:

Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations for the private school, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and internal policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities for audits and inspections.
- Monitor cash flow and manage banking relationships to optimize financial performance.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial plans for the school.
- Review and reconcile financial transactions, invoices, and expense reports.
- Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support strategic initiatives and cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient financial operations and reporting.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in accounting and finance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required; CPA or ACCA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in an educational institution or similar environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT regulations and compliance requirements.
- Fluency in English; Arabic language skills preferred but not required.
