Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Execute end-to-end payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Data Verification: Verify and input employee time and attendance data, benefits, and other related information into the payroll system.
- Compliance: Stay updated on labor laws, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements to ensure payroll compliance.
- Deduction and Garnishment Processing: Manage deductions, garnishments, and other payroll-related adjustments accurately and promptly.
- Record Maintenance: Maintain accurate and organized payroll records, including employee details, tax forms, and other relevant documentation.
- Reporting: Generate and distribute payroll reports to internal stakeholders, providing insights into payroll-related metrics.
- Employee Inquiries: Address and resolve employee inquiries related to payroll, benefits, and deductions.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure seamless integration of payroll processes with other business functions.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Payroll Accountant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and labor laws.
- Proficiency in using payroll software and MS Office applications.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in data entry and calculations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Knowledge of Dubai’s labor laws and regulations is advantageous.
- Relevant accounting or finance degree or certification.
