- Assist in daily care and activities for residents or clients, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal assistance.
- Provide support for mobility and safe transfers of residents.
- Monitor vital signs and accurately document any changes or concerns, reporting them to the nursing team.
- Administer medications under the supervision of licensed healthcare professionals.
- Encourage residents’ participation in social and recreational activities to promote engagement and well-being.
- Maintain a hygienic and secure environment for residents and clients.
- Offer emotional support and companionship to residents.
- Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care.
- Adhere to strict infection control and safety protocols.
- Accurately document provided care in compliance with relevant regulations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum GCE ‘N’ or ‘O’ Level certification or its equivalent.
- A certificate in Healthcare Support or relevant healthcare training is preferred.
- Prior experience in a healthcare or caregiving role is advantageous.
- Strong compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to assist others.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
- Physical strength and stamina for performing lifting and transfer duties.
