We are currently seeking experienced Car Mechanics to join our team in Oman. As a Car Mechanic at Confidential, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure their optimal performance and safety. This position offers an exciting opportunity for qualified candidates to contribute their skills and expertise to a dynamic and growing automotive service provider.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks, to keep vehicles in good working condition.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic equipment and manual troubleshooting techniques.
- Repair and replace defective parts and components, such as engines, brakes, transmissions, and suspension systems.
- Perform alignments, balancing, and other wheel and tire services as needed.
- Conduct vehicle inspections and road tests to identify problems and verify repairs.
- Follow the manufacturer’s specifications and industry standards for repair and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and labor hours.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics and apprentices.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations in all aspects of work.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Formal training or certification in automotive technology or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a car mechanic, preferably in a professional automotive repair shop.
