Work Experience:

Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Technical Drawings: Create detailed mechanical drawings and schematics based on specifications and design concepts provided by engineers and project managers. Utilize CAD software to develop accurate and precise technical plans.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure that drawings meet project requirements and industry standards. Participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve overall design quality.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of all drawings, including revisions and updates. Ensure that all drawings are properly archived and easily accessible for future reference.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure that all drawings adhere to relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations. Stay updated with the latest drafting techniques and software advancements.
- Quality Control: Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to project specifications. Identify and correct any errors or inconsistencies.
- Project Support: Assist in the preparation of project documentation, including assembly instructions, bill of materials, and technical manuals. Support the engineering team in various phases of the project lifecycle.
- Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of drafting processes and standards. Suggest and implement enhancements to increase efficiency and quality in the drafting process.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience as a Mechanical Draftsman or in a similar drafting role within the engineering or manufacturing industry. Proficiency in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
- Education: Associate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Drafting, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Skills: Strong technical drawing skills and a deep understanding of mechanical engineering principles. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce precise and accurate drawings.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in CAD software and other drafting tools. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Personal Attributes: Strong organizational skills, ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills. A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
