Position Overview:
As a Machine Operator at Confidential, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the efficient operation of machinery and equipment to meet production targets and quality standards. Operating a variety of machines and tools, you will be responsible for setting up, monitoring, and maintaining production equipment, conducting quality checks, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery and equipment according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting machinery, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Conduct quality inspections and tests on finished products to verify compliance with specifications and standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, diagnose problems, and make adjustments or repairs as necessary to keep production running smoothly.
- Monitor production output and identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains.
- Follow strict safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and damage to equipment or materials.
- Maintain accurate records of production activities, including machine settings, production output, and quality control checks.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to coordinate workflow, prioritize tasks, and resolve issues effectively.
- Adhere to company policies and regulations regarding quality, safety, and environmental compliance.
- Participate in training programs and professional development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; technical certification or vocational training in machine operation or manufacturing is a plus.
- Proven experience as a machine operator in a production or manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with a variety of production machinery and equipment, including but not limited to CNC machines, injection molding machines, and assembly lines.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve equipment issues quickly and effectively.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.
- Physical stamina and strength to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects as needed.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and overtime as required.
