Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Driving: Operate light vehicles in compliance with traffic rules, regulations, and company policies to ensure the safety of passengers and cargo.
- Timely Transport: Ensure the punctual transportation of personnel, materials, and equipment to and from various locations in Abu Dhabi.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform routine checks on the light vehicle, report any issues promptly, and ensure proper maintenance to guarantee operational efficiency.
- Loading and Unloading: Assist in the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring proper securing and handling during transportation.
- Route Planning: Plan and select optimal routes to ensure timely arrivals, considering traffic conditions and project requirements.
- Communication: Maintain effective communication with dispatchers, project managers, and team members to facilitate smooth coordination.
- Documentation: Complete and maintain accurate records of trips, including logbooks, receipts, and any other relevant documentation.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Valid UAE Driving License: Possession of a valid UAE driving license for light vehicles is mandatory.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Light Vehicle Driver, with a track record of safe and efficient driving.
- Safety Conscious: Demonstrated commitment to safe driving practices and adherence to safety regulations.
- Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physical tasks related to loading and unloading materials.
- Communication Skills: Effective verbal communication skills in English; additional languages are an advantage.
