As a Laundry Assistant at Tamaroi Oy, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our laundry facility. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Responsibilities:
- Sorting and Preparing Laundry: Thoroughly sort, inspect, and prepare linens, textiles, and garments for washing, ironing, and folding.
- Operating Laundry Equipment: Safely operate industrial laundry machinery, including washing machines, dryers, ironing equipment, and folding machines.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain a keen eye for detail, ensuring all items are cleaned and finished to meet our high-quality standards.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Keep the laundry area clean, organized, and free from safety hazards.
- Safety Adherence: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to create a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to achieve production goals and meet deadlines.
- Equipment Reporting: Report any equipment malfunctions or issues promptly to supervisors for resolution.
- Compliance: Adhere to company policies and procedures, including those related to health, safety, hygiene, and sustainability.
- Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional and friendly demeanor when interacting with colleagues and customers.
