Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records by recording transactions in the accounting software.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Assist in processing invoices, payments, and receipts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial policies.
- Bank Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Financial Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of financial reports, statements, and summaries for internal use.
- Assist in Audits: Support the audit process by providing relevant financial information and responding to auditor queries.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, standards, and regulations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the finance team and relevant departments to achieve common financial goals.
- Ad Hoc Tasks: Undertake additional accounting tasks and projects as assigned by senior team members.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Entry-level candidates are welcome; however, prior internship or academic exposure to accounting is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
