Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and responsible Heavy Truck Vehicle (HTV) Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on safety, punctuality, and customer service. As an HTV Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations. Your role is crucial in ensuring the timely delivery of products, and you will be expected to adhere to all traffic regulations and company policies.

Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Driving: Operate heavy trucks in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Timely Deliveries: Ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods to designated locations, maintaining scheduled timelines.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any maintenance issues or repairs needed.
- Load and Unload: Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring that items are handled with care and properly secured.
- Route Planning: Plan routes effectively to maximize efficiency and minimize fuel consumption, taking into account road conditions and traffic.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents or accidents.
- Compliance: Follow company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and proper handling of hazardous materials if applicable.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients and addressing any issues or concerns.
- Emergency Handling: Act appropriately in emergency situations, ensuring the safety of yourself, your vehicle, and the goods being transported.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensing: Valid HTV license and a clean driving record.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience driving heavy trucks preferred.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations related to HTV driving
- Excellent driving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to read maps and use GPS for route planning
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle inspections and minor repairs
