We are looking for a knowledgeable and proactive HSE Specialist to oversee and manage health, safety, and environmental initiatives within our organization. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and monitoring HSE policies and procedures to ensure the well-being of our employees, contractors, and the community.

Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and review HSE policies, procedures, and guidelines across various business units.
- Monitor and evaluate compliance with local laws, regulations, and international standards related to health, safety, and environment.
- Conduct risk assessments, hazard identification, and job safety analyses to mitigate potential risks and hazards.
- Collaborate with department heads and teams to integrate HSE practices into daily operations.
- Provide guidance and training to employees and contractors on HSE best practices.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss situations, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and safety-related documentation.
- Ensure emergency response plans and procedures are in place and regularly reviewed.
- Participate in site visits, inspections, and audits to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Promote a culture of safety awareness and environmental responsibility throughout the organization.
- Liaise with regulatory agencies, industry groups, and stakeholders on HSE matters.
- Prepare and present regular HSE reports to management.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in HSE practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Professional certifications in HSE (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) are preferred.
- Proven experience as an HSE Specialist, preferably in a diversified business or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and departments.
- Familiarity with Qatar’s HSE regulations is an advantage.
