Job Summary:
As a Housekeeping Staff member at Haawe Oy, you will play a critical role in ensuring cleanliness, order, and overall guest satisfaction in our hotels. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and service guest rooms, ensuring they meet Haawe Oy’s high standards for cleanliness and presentation.
- Change linens, make beds, and ensure all amenities are replenished in a timely and efficient manner.
- Perform general cleaning tasks in public areas, including lobbies, hallways, and restrooms.
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness in back-of-house areas, including staff areas and storage rooms.
- Handle and report any lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to report any maintenance issues in guest rooms or common areas.
- Uphold all safety and hygiene regulations, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for both guests and colleagues.
- Work closely with other departments, including front desk and guest services, to meet and exceed guest expectations.
- Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is a plus, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and presentation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to meet daily work requirements.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, such as cleaning supplies and linens.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
