Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Hotel Stewarding Supervisor. As the Stewarding Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our hotel’s kitchen and food service areas. Your leadership skills, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence will contribute to the overall success of our culinary operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision and Training: Oversee and lead the stewarding team, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient and effective operation of the department.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and control inventory of kitchen equipment, utensils, and cleaning supplies, ensuring proper par levels are maintained.
  • Hygiene and Sanitation: Enforce and uphold strict hygiene and sanitation standards in accordance with health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with the culinary and food and beverage teams to support seamless operations and meet guest expectations.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate regular maintenance and repair of kitchen equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
  • Waste Management: Implement waste reduction and recycling initiatives to promote sustainability and environmental responsibility.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on departmental performance, including cleanliness audits and equipment maintenance records.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, HACCP standards, and company policies.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in stewarding or a related field within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, HACCP standards, and food handling procedures.
  • Ability to manage inventory, control costs, and optimize resources.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and holidays.
