Responsibilities:

  • Guest Relations:
    • Welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude, offering assistance and information as needed.
    • Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information and billing details.
    • Provide guests with information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
  • Reservation Management:
    • Manage reservations effectively, ensuring accuracy and proper allocation of rooms based on guest preferences and availability.
    • Respond to reservation inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information and assisting with booking requests.
  • Front Desk Operations:
    • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, ensuring all materials, forms, and information are readily available.
    • Manage guest requests and special preferences, coordinating with relevant departments to fulfill guest needs.
  • Communication:
    • Maintain clear and professional communication with guests, colleagues, and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
    • Handle guest complaints or concerns diplomatically, aiming to resolve issues promptly and satisfactorily.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Complete administrative duties, including guest registration forms, folios, and payment processing, with a high level of accuracy.
    • Handle cash and credit card transactions, adhering to established procedures.
  • Security and Safety:
    • Ensure the security of guest information by following data protection protocols and maintaining confidentiality.
    • Monitor and report any suspicious activities or security concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Multi-Tasking:
    • Effectively manage multiple tasks, such as answering phones, assisting guests, and handling inquiries, while maintaining a professional demeanor.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in hospitality management is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a hotel receptionist or in a similar customer service role.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with fluency in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems, including reservation software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
