Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Guest Check-In/Check-Out: Greet guests, facilitate smooth check-in and check-out procedures, and provide assistance with luggage if required.
- Reservation Management: Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Customer Service: Respond to guest inquiries, provide information about hotel services, facilities, and local attractions, and address any concerns or issues promptly.
- Front Desk Operations: Manage the front desk, answer phone calls, handle mail, and perform administrative tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the reception area.
- Payment Processing: Process guest payments, issue receipts, and manage cash handling procedures following hotel policies.
- Room Allocation: Assign guest rooms, provide room keys, and communicate relevant information to housekeeping and other departments.
- Safety and Security: Follow security protocols, monitor the lobby area, and report any suspicious activities or incidents.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Hotel Receptionist or in a similar customer service role is advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of hotel reservation systems and standard office software.
- Positive attitude and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Ability to handle stressful situations with calmness and professionalism.
- Eligibility to work in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
