As a Hotel Ice Cream Server at Toppings Ice Cream in England, you will be responsible for providing excellent service to guests at our hotel-based ice cream parlor. Key Responsibilities:
- Greet hotel guests with a warm and friendly demeanor as they visit the ice cream parlor, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take guest orders accurately and efficiently, providing recommendations on flavors, toppings, and menu items as needed.
- Prepare and serve ice cream cones, cups, sundaes, milkshakes, and other frozen treats according to Toppings Ice Cream standards and recipes.
- Customize orders based on guest preferences, adding toppings, sauces, and garnishes to enhance the presentation and flavor of each dessert.
- Operate ice cream machines, milkshake blenders, and other equipment safely and effectively, following proper operating procedures and hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the ice cream parlor, including cleaning equipment, countertops, and seating areas regularly.
- Handle cash and card payments from guests, processing transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems.
- Upsell additional items or promotions to guests, such as waffle cones, extra toppings, or specialty beverages, to maximize sales and enhance the guest experience.
- Monitor inventory levels of ice cream flavors, toppings, and supplies, restocking as needed and reporting any shortages to management.
- Collaborate with hotel staff and management to ensure seamless operations and excellent service throughout the hotel.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or food service roles is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking with attention to detail.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in using cash registers or point-of-sale systems.
