Key Responsibilities:

1. Supervisory Leadership:
   • Supervise and lead the hospital housekeeping team, assigning tasks and responsibilities efficiently.
   • Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to housekeeping staff.
   • Foster a positive and productive work environment that emphasizes cleanliness and safety.
2. Room and Facility Maintenance:
   • Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of patient rooms, common areas, and hospital facilities.
   • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with healthcare cleanliness standards.
   • Report and coordinate the resolution of any maintenance or safety issues.
3. Inventory and Supplies Management:
   • Manage inventory control of housekeeping supplies, including cleaning products, disinfectants, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
   • Coordinate the restocking of essential items to maintain a sanitary and well-prepared environment.
4. Infection Control:
   • Implement and enforce strict infection control measures and guidelines to prevent the spread of illness within the hospital.
   • Collaborate with hospital infection control personnel as needed.
5. Attention to Detail:
   • Uphold meticulous standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the hospital.
   • Address any cleanliness deficiencies promptly to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
6. Team Collaboration:
   • Collaborate closely with hospital departments, including nursing and maintenance, to ensure a seamless healthcare experience for patients and staff.
   • Assist in the training and development of housekeeping team members in healthcare-specific cleaning protocols.
7. Safety and Compliance:
   • Enforce strict adherence to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working and healthcare environment.
   • Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures, particularly those related to cleanliness, infection control, and patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional relevant education or certification in healthcare facilities management is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor in a healthcare setting or similar role.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to maintaining impeccable cleanliness standards.
• Outstanding leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Physical stamina and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Familiarity with infection control practices in healthcare settings.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
