We are looking for experienced Heavy Drivers to operate and maintain heavy vehicles, ensuring the safe and timely transportation of goods and materials. Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Responsibilities:
Vehicle Operation:
- Safely operate heavy vehicles, including trucks and other specialized vehicles.
- Adhere to traffic rules and regulations to ensure the safety of goods, vehicles, and other road users.
Cargo Transportation:
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper securing and handling of materials.
- Transport goods and materials to designated locations, both locally and regionally.
Vehicle Maintenance:
- Perform routine maintenance checks on vehicles, ensuring they are in good working condition.
- Report any mechanical issues and coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs.
Route Planning:
- Plan efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries and optimize fuel consumption.
- Navigate using GPS systems or maps to reach destinations.
Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of goods transported, mileage, and other relevant documentation.
- Ensure all necessary permits and licenses are up-to-date.
Communication:
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, colleagues, and clients to coordinate deliveries and address any issues that may arise during transportation.
Qualifications:
- Valid Qatar heavy vehicle driving license.
- Proven experience as a Heavy Driver.
- Knowledge of local and regional roads and traffic regulations.
- Ability to operate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness to handle loading and unloading tasks.
