As a Healthcare Sales Assistant at Boots Ltd, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and promoting healthcare products and services to our customers. Key responsibilities include:
- Greeting customers with a warm and friendly attitude and assisting them with their healthcare needs and product inquiries.
- Providing expert advice and guidance on over-the-counter medications, vitamins, supplements, and other healthcare products.
- Recommending products and services based on customers’ needs and preferences, and upselling additional items to increase sales.
- Processing prescriptions accurately and efficiently, including entering information into the pharmacy system and dispensing medications.
- Operating cash registers and processing transactions accurately, including cash, credit, and contactless payments.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the store, including stocking shelves, facing products, and tidying displays.
- Monitoring stock levels and replenishing inventory as needed to ensure product availability and presentation standards are met.
- Following health and safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Collaborating with team members and pharmacists to provide excellent customer service and support overall store operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in retail, customer service, or healthcare is preferred but not required.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer service skills with a positive and empathetic attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and multitask under pressure.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in using cash registers and other retail equipment.
