Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly and professional Fitness Club Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a customer service-oriented individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for fitness. As the first point of contact for our members and guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and positive atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include managing front desk operations, handling member inquiries, and supporting administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the club.

Work Experience:

1-2 years of experience in the relevant field

Education & Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front Desk Management: Greet members and guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Member Services: Assist with membership inquiries, sign-ups, and renewals. Provide information about club services, programs, and events.
  • Appointment Scheduling: Schedule and manage appointments for personal training sessions, classes, and other club activities.
  • Administrative Support: Perform administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing mail.
  • Check-In Process: Oversee the check-in process for members and guests, ensuring accurate records and security protocols.
  • Payments and Transactions: Handle membership payments, class fees, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Facility Tours: Conduct tours of the facility for potential new members, highlighting key features and benefits.
  • Customer Support: Address and resolve member complaints and concerns promptly and professionally, escalating issues as necessary.
  • Maintenance Coordination: Report any facility maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel and ensure the front desk area is clean and organized.
  • Promotional Activities: Assist with club promotions, marketing activities, and member engagement initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in a customer service role, preferably in a fitness or hospitality environment.
Skills:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills
  • Ability to operate gym management software (training will be provided)
