Role Overview:

The Financial Analyst at Dar AMA will play a critical role in supporting the financial planning and analysis functions of the company. This position requires a detail-oriented and analytical professional who can provide valuable insights through financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis. Key Responsibilities:

Financial Modeling and Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support investment decisions and project evaluations.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations for business strategies.
  • Perform sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of different scenarios on financial outcomes.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
  • Monitor budget performance and identify variances, providing explanations and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure accurate and realistic budget assumptions.

Performance Analysis:

  • Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Prepare comprehensive financial reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Identify key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress towards financial goals.

Investment Analysis:

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis of potential investment opportunities and real estate projects.
  • Evaluate project feasibility, return on investment (ROI), and risk factors.
  • Prepare investment memos and presentations for review by the executive team.

Market Research and Benchmarking:

  • Conduct market research to gather relevant financial and economic data.
  • Benchmark company performance against industry standards and competitors.
  • Provide insights into market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes impacting the real estate sector.

Financial Reporting and Compliance:

  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial documentation and explanations.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.

Strategic Support:

  • Support strategic planning initiatives by providing financial analysis and insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate and execute strategic projects.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial strategies to achieve business objectives.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably in the real estate industry.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and data analysis.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial analysis software.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
