Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced F&B Supervisor to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. in Malaysia. The F&B Supervisor will oversee the daily operations of the Food & Beverage department, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction. Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the Food & Beverage department, including dining outlets, banquets, and room service.
- Ensure that all food and beverage services are delivered with exceptional quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
- Train, coach, and mentor team members to maintain high standards of service, professionalism, and hospitality.
- Monitor and manage staffing levels, schedules, and performance to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and briefings to communicate daily objectives, specials, and other relevant information to staff.
- Oversee the setup and preparation of dining areas, ensuring cleanliness, organization, and compliance with health and safety standards.
- Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests promptly and effectively, resolving issues to the guest’s satisfaction.
- Monitor and control inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed and minimizing waste to maximize profitability.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update menus, specials, and promotions based on guest preferences and market trends.
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to sales, inventory, and guest feedback.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in hospitality management or a related field.
- Proven experience as an F&B Supervisor or in a similar leadership role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, including service standards, menu planning, and costing.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with a focus on anticipating and exceeding guest expectations.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in computer systems and software, including POS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Malaysia.
