Job Summary:
The Donkey Sanctuary is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team as Farm Workers. This unique opportunity offers you the chance to work closely with donkeys and mules while enjoying the beautiful Irish countryside. Accommodation is provided on-site, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the sanctuary’s tranquil environment.

- Animal Care: Provide daily care for donkeys and mules, including feeding, grooming, and monitoring their well-being.
- Medical Support: Assist the veterinary team in administering medication and treatments as required.
- Farm Maintenance: Maintain clean and safe living conditions for the animals, including cleaning stables and paddocks.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of animal care and health-related information.
- Visitor Engagement: Educate and engage with visitors about the work of The Donkey Sanctuary and the importance of animal welfare.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with fellow farm workers and supervisors to ensure the highest standards of care for the animals.
- Events and Outreach: Participate in sanctuary events and outreach programs to promote our mission and raise awareness.
Qualifications:
- A genuine passion for animal welfare and a love for donkeys and mules.
- Previous experience working with animals is an advantage but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Physical fitness and the ability to perform manual labor.
- Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to work well in a team and independently.
