Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, with the ability to oversee and manage electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. This role involves supervising a team of electricians, ensuring compliance with safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget.

Work Experience:

Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
Team Supervision:
- Lead, manage, and motivate a team of electricians and electrical technicians.
- Assign tasks and monitor the performance of team members to ensure efficiency and quality of work.
- Conduct regular team meetings and provide training and development opportunities.
Project Management:
- Oversee electrical installations, maintenance, and repair projects from start to finish.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of projects.
Quality Control:
- Inspect and test electrical systems and equipment to identify issues and ensure functionality.
- Implement quality control procedures to maintain high standards of workmanship.
- Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies promptly.
Safety and Compliance:
- Enforce safety protocols and ensure that all team members adhere to safety guidelines.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
- Investigate and report any accidents or incidents, and implement corrective actions.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of electrical work, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, and project documentation.
- Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients.
- Manage inventory of electrical supplies and equipment, and coordinate procurement as needed.
Technical Expertise:
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members and other departments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Electrical Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, maintenance, and repairs.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of industry standards, codes, and safety regulations.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in electrical work.
- Proficiency in using electrical testing and diagnostic tools.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in various environments, including construction sites and industrial facilities.
- Capability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials.
- Comfort with standing, walking, and working at heights for extended periods.
