Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Provide comprehensive dermatological care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of various skin conditions.
- Medical Procedures: Perform medical procedures, surgeries, and interventions related to dermatology as needed.
- Patient Consultation: Conduct thorough consultations with patients to understand their medical history, symptoms, and concerns.
- Diagnostic Testing: Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including biopsies and laboratory tests, to determine the nature of skin conditions.
- Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans for patients, considering their individual needs and medical conditions.
- Education: Educate patients on dermatological conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including general practitioners, nurses, and specialists, to ensure integrated patient care.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, and treatment plans.
Requirements:
- Education: Medical degree with a specialization in Dermatology. Board certification or equivalent is required.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Dermatologist, with a minimum of X years of relevant work experience.
- Licensing: Valid medical license to practice as a Dermatologist in Oman.
- Clinical Skills: Proficient in diagnosing and treating various dermatological conditions. Experience in cosmetic dermatology is advantageous.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information to patients.
