Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Care: Assist dental professionals during patient examinations, treatments, and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Instrument Preparation: Sterilize and prepare dental instruments for procedures, maintaining a sterile and organized work environment.
- Chairside Assistance: Provide chairside assistance to dentists during various dental procedures, anticipating their needs and ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care, answering any questions they may have.
- Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and handling billing inquiries.
- Radiography: Take and process dental X-rays in compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure proper maintenance and functioning of dental equipment, reporting any issues to the appropriate personnel.
- Infection Control: Adhere to strict infection control protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
Qualifications:
- Certified Dental Assistant with relevant qualifications.
- Previous experience working as a dental assistant.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in dental software and office management systems.
- Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures.
- Empathy and a patient-focused approach to care.
- Must be a female candidate, in line with our hiring preferences.
