Position Overview:
We are seeking Dementia Care Specialists who are empathetic, patient and committed to providing specialized care to individuals with dementia. As a Dementia Care Specialist at Dementia Singapore, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with dementia and their families, promoting their well-being, and enhancing their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered care to individuals living with dementia, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Engage in activities and therapeutic interventions designed to stimulate cognitive function and enhance overall well-being.
- Offer support and guidance to family caregivers, assisting them in understanding and coping with the challenges of dementia.
- Conduct assessments to evaluate the needs and abilities of individuals with dementia and develop individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including doctors, therapists, and social workers, to provide holistic care.
- Participate in dementia education and training programs for caregivers and the community.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of care provided.
- Stay updated on best practices and emerging research in dementia care.
Qualifications:
- Foreign nationals with a valid work permit in Singapore are welcome to apply.
