Job Description:
As a DC Electrician at Confidential, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of direct current (DC) electrical systems for various applications. Working as part of our skilled team of electricians, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of DC electrical equipment and systems.

Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Your duties will include:
- Installing, testing, and commissioning DC electrical systems, including solar photovoltaic (PV) systems, battery storage systems, and DC power distribution systems.
- Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to determine the layout and configuration of DC electrical components.
- Selecting and installing appropriate wiring, conduits, cables, and connectors to connect DC equipment and components.
- Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance activities to identify and address potential issues before they escalate.
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical faults and malfunctions in DC systems, and implementing corrective actions to restore functionality.
- Conducting electrical tests and measurements using specialized equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Adhering to all relevant safety protocols and procedures to minimize the risk of accidents, injuries, and damage to property.
- Providing technical support and guidance to other team members and assisting in the training and development of junior electricians.
- Maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each job.
- Keeping abreast of industry trends, advancements in DC electrical technology, and changes to electrical codes and regulations.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or certification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Installation, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an electrician, with specific experience in DC electrical systems preferred.
- Knowledge of DC electrical principles, circuits, and components.
- Familiarity with relevant electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally as required.
