Job Description:
We are currently seeking dedicated and reliable Cleaners to join our team at Al Nahrain Specialty Medical Center LLC in Ajman. The Cleaners will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Key Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and Sanitization: Perform routine cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors, surfaces, and furniture in patient rooms, waiting areas, and common areas.
- Disinfection: Use approved cleaning agents and disinfectants to sanitize high-touch surfaces, such as doorknobs, handrails, and countertops, to prevent the spread of infections.
- Waste Management: Collect and dispose of trash, medical waste, and recyclable materials in accordance with established procedures and infection control guidelines.
- Restocking Supplies: Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies, toiletries, and other consumables in restrooms, patient rooms, and other designated areas as needed.
- Laundry Services: Collect, sort, and launder linens, towels, and other textiles used in patient care, ensuring cleanliness and adherence to hygiene standards.
- Floor Care: Clean and maintain floor surfaces, including sweeping, mopping, waxing, and buffing, to ensure safety and cleanliness.
- Equipment Maintenance: Clean and maintain cleaning equipment, such as vacuums, mops, and floor buffers, and report any maintenance issues or malfunctions to the supervisor.
- Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, infection control measures, and healthcare regulations while performing cleaning duties to ensure a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Team Collaboration: Coordinate with other cleaning staff and departmental teams to prioritize tasks, address cleaning needs, and maintain cleanliness standards across the facility.
- Customer Service: Provide courteous and helpful assistance to patients, visitors, and staff, responding promptly to requests and inquiries related to cleaning services.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in cleaning or housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare or hospitality setting.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and infection control protocols.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
