As a Hospital Caregiver at MicroCheck Home Healthcare, you will play a critical role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of patients in a hospital setting. You will work closely with the healthcare team to provide personalized care and support to patients during their stay.

Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assistance:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADL), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility.
- Support patients in maintaining their comfort and dignity throughout their hospital stay.
- Medication and Treatment Support:
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by medical professionals.
- Monitor and record vital signs, promptly reporting any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
- Emotional Support:
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients, engaging in conversations and activities to enhance their well-being.
- Advocate for patients’ needs and preferences, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Nutrition and Hydration:
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to dietary guidelines.
- Ensure patients receive proper hydration by offering fluids regularly.
- Safety and Cleanliness:
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment, including organizing patient rooms and ensuring infection control protocols are followed.
- Documentation:
- Accurately document patient care activities and maintain organized records.
- Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate effectively with nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
- Communicate patient updates and any concerns to the healthcare team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a caregiver or nursing assistant in a hospital setting is preferred.
- Compassion, empathy, and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on patients’ lives.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
- Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and as part of a team.
