Position Overview:
We are seeking responsible and dependable Bus Drivers to join our team. Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Safe Operation: Drive company buses safely and efficiently along designated routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to passengers, answering questions, assisting with boarding, and ensuring a pleasant travel experience.
- Schedule Adherence: Maintain punctuality by adhering to scheduled routes and timetables, ensuring timely arrivals and departures.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the bus, reporting any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the maintenance team.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including passenger counts, mileage, and any incidents or delays.
- Compliance: Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of seat belts, securing wheelchairs, and maintaining a distraction-free driving environment.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers, fellow drivers, and passengers to ensure smooth operations and address any issues promptly.
- Emergency Response: Act quickly and appropriately in emergency situations, providing assistance and ensuring passenger safety.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Licensing: Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with passenger endorsement.
- Experience: Previous experience as a bus driver or in a similar transportation role preferred.
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations
- Excellent driving skills and a clean driving record
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret maps and schedules
- Basic mechanical knowledge for vehicle inspections
