Position Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Branch Manager to lead our branch team. The Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of branch operations, including customer service, sales, staff management, and business development. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leadership in the banking industry, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong commitment to delivering superior financial services to our customers.

Work Experience:

1-2 years of experience in the relevant field

Education & Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership: Provide effective leadership and guidance to branch staff, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and excellence.
  • Customer Service: Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and personalized service, addressing their banking needs and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Sales and Business Development: Drive branch sales goals and revenue targets by promoting bank products and services, identifying cross-selling opportunities, and developing strategies to attract and retain customers.
  • Operations Management: Oversee all aspects of branch operations, including cash management, transaction processing, compliance, and security protocols, to ensure efficient and effective functioning of the branch.
  • Staff Development: Recruit, train, coach, and develop branch staff, providing ongoing feedback, performance evaluations, and opportunities for professional growth and advancement.
  • Risk Management: Implement and enforce bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate operational risks and maintain compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Community Engagement: Represent the bank in the local community, building relationships with customers, businesses, and community organizations, and participating in community events and initiatives to promote the bank’s brand and values.
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in retail banking, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Leadership Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team to achieve goals and deliver exceptional results.
  • Customer Focus: Excellent customer service skills, with a genuine desire to help customers achieve their financial goals and exceed their expectations.
  • Sales Acumen: Proven sales and business development skills, with a track record of driving revenue growth and expanding customer relationships.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, staff, and senior management.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
