Responsibilities:
- Guest Assistance:
- Greeting arriving guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, assisting with luggage and escorting them to the check-in area.
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
- Luggage Handling:
- Assist guests with handling their luggage, ensuring proper care and safe transportation to their rooms.
- Maintain a professional appearance and use appropriate equipment to handle luggage efficiently.
- Vehicle Services:
- Assist guests with valet parking, managing vehicle retrieval, and ensuring the safe handling of keys.
- Coordinate with valet parking attendants to ensure seamless vehicle services.
- Guest Relations:
- Build positive relationships with guests by addressing their needs and inquiries with a courteous and helpful attitude.
- Provide assistance to guests with disabilities or special requirements, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Communication:
- Maintain clear communication with front desk and concierge staff to ensure efficient coordination of guest services.
- Relay guest requests and preferences accurately to relevant departments.
- Safety and Security:
- Follow hotel policies and procedures related to security and guest privacy.
- Monitor and report any suspicious activities or security concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Appearance and Maintenance:
- Ensure the entrance, lobby, and baggage area are clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times.
- Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to the hotel’s dress code and grooming standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Bellman or in a similar guest service role is preferred.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
- Ability to handle luggage of various sizes and weights safely.
- Strong communication skills in English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
- Well-groomed appearance and professional demeanor.
- Knowledge of local attractions, transportation options, and services is advantageous.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical tasks.
