Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with Classroom Activities: Support lead teachers in implementing developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development.
- Supervising Children: Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times, both indoors and outdoors, and maintain a positive and nurturing atmosphere.
- Facilitating Play and Learning: Engage with children during playtime, encourage exploration and discovery, and facilitate interactions that promote cooperation and problem-solving skills.
- Assisting with Daily Routines: Help with tasks such as feeding, diapering, and nap time, following established routines and guidelines provided by lead teachers.
- Creating Learning Materials: Assist in preparing and organizing materials and resources for classroom activities, including art supplies, educational toys, and books.
- Communication with Parents: Maintain open and positive communication with parents, providing updates on their child’s progress and addressing any questions or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Collaborating with Team Members: Work closely with other staff members to ensure smooth operations and a cohesive approach to childcare and education.
