Work Experience:

1-2 years of experience in the relevant field

Education & Qualification:

Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary

Responsibilities:

• Planting and Cultivating: Assist in planting crops, ensuring proper spacing and depth for optimal growth.
• Harvesting: Harvest crops efficiently and with care to minimize damage and maximize yield.
• Irrigation: Set up, operate, and maintain irrigation systems to ensure crops receive adequate water.
• Soil Preparation: Prepare soil for planting by tilling, weeding, and applying fertilizers or compost.
• Pest and Weed Control: Identify and remove weeds and pests to protect crop health and yield.
• Equipment Operation: Safely operate and maintain farm equipment, including tractors, plows, and harvesters.
• General Maintenance: Perform general maintenance tasks around the farm, including repairing fences, maintaining buildings, and ensuring cleanliness.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of planting dates, harvest yields, and other relevant data.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Previous experience in agriculture or farming is preferred but not required.
• Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for long periods.
• Knowledge: Basic understanding of farming practices and crop care.
• Skills: Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
• Communication: Basic verbal and written communication skills.
