Confidential is currently hiring an Accountant to be a key member of our finance team in Oman. As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Transactions: Record and manage day-to-day financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Budget Management: Assist in the development and monitoring of budgets, ensuring alignment with financial goals and objectives.
- Audit Support: Support internal and external audits by providing relevant financial information, documentation, and reports.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with local financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies, and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Professional certification (CA, ACCA, CPA) is advantageous.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in accounting roles, preferably in a similar industry.
- Software Skills: Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
