Work Experience:

Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Checkout Operations: Efficiently and accurately process customer transactions at the checkout counter using electronic cash registers or POS systems.
- Customer Service: Provide friendly and prompt customer service, addressing inquiries, and assisting customers with their purchases.
- Cash Handling: Handle cash, credit/debit cards, and other forms of payment securely, ensuring accuracy and adherence to financial policies.
- Product Knowledge: Have a basic understanding of supermarket products and prices to assist customers with inquiries and product location.
- Bagging: Properly bag customers’ purchases and assist with packing if needed, maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.
- Transaction Records: Maintain accurate records of transactions, reconcile cash registers at the end of the shift, and prepare daily reports.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Cashier in a supermarket or retail environment is preferred.
- Strong numerical and multitasking skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
- Ability to handle cash and operate electronic cash registers or POS systems.
