Work Experience:

Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including guest check-in/check-out procedures, billing, and payments.
- Maintain a strong understanding of the hotel’s financial policies and procedures, ensuring compliance at all times.
- Operate the property’s front office accounting system to complete guest transactions and maintain accurate records.
- Handle all cash, credit card, and check transactions with precision, providing guests with receipts and explanations as necessary.
- Assist guests with inquiries related to their accounts, resolve any billing discrepancies, and provide a high level of customer service.
- Prepare and balance daily revenue and deposit reports, ensuring all information is accurate and properly documented.
- Maintain security over cash and financial documents to protect against theft and ensure compliance with hotel policies.
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to provide information and support for various financial needs.
- Assist with training and mentoring of junior cashiers as needed.
- Keep updated with changes in financial and accounting regulations and adapt to new technologies and systems as required.
Qualifications and Education:
- Proven experience as a Hotel Cashier or in a similar finance-related position within the hospitality industry.
- Proficiency in operating hotel front office accounting systems and financial software.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, attention to detail, and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of financial policies, regulations, and accounting principles.
- Ability to handle financial transactions with professionalism and integrity.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant finance or accounting qualifications are a plus.
- Familiarity with Marriott’s systems and standards is an advantage.
