Work Experience:

Education & Qualification:

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, income statements, and other financial reports.
- Ensure adherence to accounting principles, policies, and regulations to maintain accurate and transparent financial transactions.
- Reconcile accounts and identify discrepancies, investigating and resolving issues as necessary.
- Participate in month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support the Accounts Payable and Receivable teams by reviewing invoices, verifying expenses, and processing payments.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities, providing insights and analysis to support decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal departments to gather financial data and provide necessary information for audits.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance department.
- Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and regulations, implementing best practices.
- Maintain confidentiality of financial information and exercise professionalism in all interactions.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and procedures.
- Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work well under pressure.
- Professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in handling financial data.
- Professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, or CMA are a plus.
- Eligibility to work in Qatar.
