Petrol Mechanic, Confidential, a leading organization in the automotive industry within the United Arab Emirates, is seeking a skilled and experienced Petrol Mechanic. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining petrol-powered vehicles. This role is critical to ensuring the reliability and performance of our fleet, contributing to the overall success of our operations.

Work Experience:
1-2 years of experience in the relevant field
Education & Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree/ High School / Secondary
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Diagnostics: Perform thorough inspections and diagnostics on petrol engines to identify issues and recommend appropriate repairs.
- Maintenance & Repair: Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, spark plug replacements, and fuel system checks, as well as complex repairs on engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all repairs and maintenance work meets the company’s high standards for quality and safety.
- Tool & Equipment Management: Use and maintain specialized tools and diagnostic equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and best practices, ensuring a safe work environment for yourself and others.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to explain vehicle issues, repair processes, and maintenance recommendations.
- Documentation: Accurately record all work performed, including parts used and time spent, in the company’s maintenance management system.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with other mechanics, technicians, and service advisors to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
- Training & Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques through continuous training and development.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Petrol Mechanic or in a similar role.
- Education: A technical diploma or certification in automotive technology or a related field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in using modern diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Certifications: Relevant certifications in automotive repair and maintenance are highly desirable.
- Language: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy parts and standing for extended periods.
